Guelaguetza Performers From Santa Cruz

Guelaguetza celetebrates the seven different regions of Oaxaca.

Danza of the pineapple flower, which represents the Earth and the joy of harvesting in which multiple women dressed in colorful garments dance carrying a pineapple on their shoulders.

The Dance of the Mixtec Jarabe (syrup) is performed with high energy and passion to their native music.

The Dance of the Negritos from the city of Yalala, of the mountain range of Juarez.

The Dance of the Feather, in which the dancers display majestic head dresses that sway to the musical rhythms.
